beautiful girls named ⚠️ Severe Weather keep messaging me
cant believe we live in a reality where getting a silly iced drink can set you back 7 dollars. it's like they want me dead
Public transit be like your bus is due .....now! ........now! .....any second now.......okay now! Just kidding uhh..............now! Okay itll be 17 minutes ☺️ hope that helps. Aw shit we sent the invisible bus again
I've said it before and I'll say it again:
We have SO MUCH MORE media we can consume these days. If TV shows and movies aren't made (or are made badly for a while) because of this strike, we still have plenty of things to do.
I'm sorry your favorite show's new season may be delayed or even canceled. Truly. I'm not being sarcastic, I do truly feel for you.
But it is much more important that the people creating it earn a fair wage and fair treatment.
Yeah, it'll suck to not have good shows and movies and whatever. But we'll be fine. We live in a truly magical day and age where an unlimited amount of content is available to us at all times.
And you know what? This is a great chance to support creators that don't work for big companies.
Companies like Disney want to weaponize your feelings about your favorite shows being delayed/cancelled.
Don't let them.
You can feel your feelings. It's fine. You're valid for being upset.
But don't take your anger out on the actors and writers that are just trying to earn a living.

Also, we're SUPPOSED to be getting attached to these things? Like we're supposed to feel emotional connections to the media we enjoy, that's the whole point.
The idea that it's bad to havr emotional reactions to things being cancelled is absurd, especially when part of the WGA strike specifically is about writers being forced to abandon shows and projects they love. "It's stupid to care about tv shows" is a slap in the face to the writers and actors and designers and everyone else who are putting their hearts and souls into art that they're fighting to have more control over.
if you are getting mad bc your favorite show isn't coming out as soon or is getting delayed, be mad at the execs for refusing to meet and negotiate with the wga and sag aftra, not at the actors and writers who also love the show and who are perfectly willing to negotiate and keep making your favorite show.

and remember, if you want new shows to watch, but they aren't on a streaming service you have/you dont want to pay:
maybe look in your local public library, i have been told that not all have dvds, but my citys public library system bas plenty of dvds, you judt have to ask :)
loudly going "YOU'RE GOOD YOU'RE GOOD" to myself to ward off the memory of every embarrassing thing i've ever done
thinking abt them (mutuals who deactivated their blogs and idk how to reach them) :(
the post you reblogged about people who werent swifties during 2016-2017 "not being equal" made me stop blogging about taylor lol. i'm a new swiftie and honestly that post and all the people agreeing with it (including you) really hurts. that kinda shit makes me feel like i have no right to have a taylor blog or be in the fandom or post about how much i'm getting into her because y'all make me feel alienated and like i'm not as good as you and never will be. Thanks
i literally added in my tags (and said several times after) that everyone is welcome, at least on my blog. that doesn’t mean it isn’t a different experience! but it being different doesn’t mean it’s bad (or that you are bad, or less), it just means that…..it’s different. you shouldn’t stop blogging!
Hey @staff. This is a perfect example of why collapsed reblogs is such a bad idea. Seeing the full thread, you go like this:
๐ฎ ooh, that's cool
๐ "they're free," hehe!
๐คฃ "16 cents," perfection!!
I have achieved joy, I feel positive feelings toward Tumblr, I want to engage, I want to stay, my eyeballs land on more ads, you make more money, everyone wins! ๐
Seeing the collapsed thread, you go like this:
๐ฎ ooh, that's cool
๐ "16 cents"? yes, that's literally what the pic shows, not sure why you felt the need to say that
There is no motivation for me to uncollapse the reblog chainโit looks like a boring conversation about the denominations of coins. And even if I do uncollapse it, you've ruined the joke by showing me the punchline before the setup. I am sad, Tumblr is boring, I go elsewhere to entertain myself, I see less ads, you make less money, everyone loses. ๐ฅ
Reblog chains are the best thing about Tumblr. They are your unique super power. They are the thing that makes people screenshot Tumblr and share it around. Why on earth would you kneecap them??
I don't know exactly how you plan to implement this. Give people the option to keep them collapsed if there truly are people who are annoyed by how long they can get (you already have a version of this feature), but don't collapse them for everyone or new users by default. Please. It will make Tumblr so much more boring.
Finally finished this art with all of Crows
